A walk around the neighbourhood - Citibank Bandar Puteri Fun Walk

A 3.5km Resident’s Committee (JKP) 20 and Citibank Bandar Puteri Fun Walk will be held on Sept 9.

Organised by JKP Zone 20 (Pusat Bandar Puchong and Bandar Puteri), the event aims at gathering people to take a leisure walk around the neighbourhood in the morning sunshine.

The participants are advised not to run or rush, but to take a stroll along the route demarcated that would roughly take about 45 minutes.

Sri Serdang assemblyman Datuk Dr Satim Diman added that this activity was in line with the Local Agenda 21 principles and social problems within the community could be resolved through forging close ties with each other.

The first 1,000 adults who sign up for the walk will receive a free T-shirt, while everyone who participates in the walk stand a chance to win attractive prizes in the lucky draw.

Among the prizes sponsored by local politicians and business operators include dining vouchers, televisions, hand phones, bicycles, hampers, washing machines, refrigerator and more.

Registration starts at 7.15am on Sept 9 and the walk will be flagged off at 8.15am at Citibank Bandar Puteri Puchong.

There will also be art and craft competition, colouring contest, dengue and police exhibitions and more.

A free health diagnostic service will also be provided by Columbia Asia.

Maman stressed that this event, sponsored by Citibank Bandar Puteri, IOI Properties and Columbia Asia, was open to all and registration free.
